Why won’t my Thule open?
We recommend lubricating the lock and lock assemblies with an aerosol graphite lubricant. White lithium grease is also an acceptable material. Once sprayed with the lubricant allow the time for it to penetrate. Then, place a drop or two of the same lubricant on each side of the key, and insert the key into the lock. So the first job is to loosen them with some WD-40! Hold the lock so the key hole is facing the floor and squirt WD-40 into the hole. This should dislodge any street gunk and allow it to drain out of the locking mechanism. Then turn the bike lock around so the hole is facing the upwards and insert the key.
How do I unlock my Thule bike rack?

What if my Thule lock has no code?
If the key code number is not present on the lock cylinder and you do not know the code, you may be able to visit a local Thule dealer for help in determining the matching key number.
