Arc’s CEO and co-founder Mitch Lee fell in love with the water on the California Delta, where the Sierra Nevada’s great rivers carve through the Central Valley. Boyhood summers on the family boat inspired his mission to modernize boating. The pleasures and pains of that old gas ski boat planted the seed. CEO Mitch Lee was born into a Bay Area family of boating fanatics — his mom waterskied on the morning of her wedding day, curlers and all — and spent countless hours on the water growing up. On land, he focused on entrepreneurship, juggling multiple jobs and trading stocks from a young age.

Top speed clocks in at 40 mph, while the boat comfortably cruises around 35–36 mph. Cruising around at lower speeds is sustainable for over 24 hours straight, whereas spending more time at high speeds will use the battery faster. On average, the boat should support 4-6 hours of active usage time, including plenty of towing.Arc reckons that the battery is good for about four to five hours of run time in the Sport.
