Who makes Hyperlite?
In 1991 the first Hyperlite wakeboard was created, the board was manufactured under HO Sports company. H. O. Sports worked with surfboard shapers in Hawaii to design and build the first compression-molded neutral-buoyancy wakeboard, the Hyperlite. Hyperlite They have been manufacturing boards for more than three decades. With their extensive experience, they do not take chances and make sure that they produce wakeboards that perform and last. True to their name, Hyperlite’s boards are ultra-lightweight, easy to manoeuvre and won’t fatigue you in the water.
What is hyperlite made of?
DYNEEMA COMPOSITES They are produced from oriented fiber layers. The layers are then surface coated with layers of polyester film to deliver 100% waterproof fabrics that are highly durable and light enough to float on water. The fabric’s weight is customized according to its end use. Tents, backpacks and bags made with Dyneema® Composite Fabric are completely waterproof and, unlike those made with nylons or silnylons, don’t stretch or sag in wet weather.
What material does Hyperlite use?

Hyperlite’s pioneering approach has reinvented the way outdoor gear is made. In 2009, the seeds of Hyperlite Mountain Gear were planted by founder Mike St. Pierre, whose passion for adventure was matched only by his dissatisfaction with the outdoor gear available at the time. Unable to find durable, lightweight, and design-driven equipment for his pursuits, Mike decided to take action.
