Who invented the Seabreacher?
Innes moved to Redding from New Zealand over two decades ago. He launched his first submersible product, the Seabreacher in the early 2000s with co-founder Dan Piazza. Innespace Productions is a Redding, CA-based company specializing in the production of innovative watercraft. Their Seabreacher X, Seabreacher Y, and Seabreacher Z models offer thrilling and unique experiences for water enthusiasts.
Who makes Seabreacher?
At Innespace Productions, our purpose is to bring the unique experience of underwater flight to waterways around the world by building exciting, safe, and reliable submersible watercraft. Unlike conventional watercraft that only operate on a two dimensional plane, the Seabreacher operates more like an aircraft with full three axis of control – pitch, roll, and yaw. This allows the vessel to carve left and right, jump over, dive under, and cut though the waves.All models are approved for recreational use and sale, and can be registered as a conventional inboard powerboat in most countries. Please note, the Seabreacher is not considered a submarine or jet ski. The Seabreacher is only meant to dive just beneath the surface for brief durations.Our latest model, the Seabreacher Z, is capable of performing high speed 360-degree barrel rolls on the water with the new retractable dorsal fin.The Seabreacher X is one of the most advanced submersible watercraft that we have built to date. This exciting version is similar in size to the Y Model, but with higher performance and a more aggressive shark style body.
How much does a submarine cost?
Conventional submarines are more budget-friendly, at $500 to $800 million. Ballistic missile submarines (SSBNs) cost between $10 and $20 billion each, while attack submarines (SSNs) range from $2 to $5 billion. The contract, which is poised to be signed by March 31, 2025, marks a new chapter in India’s naval strategy but raises questions due to the steep increase in costs compared to previous acquisitions. Each of the new submarines is set to cost around Rs 12,000 crore, a figure that has sparked considerable debate.
Can I buy a submarine?
There are a number of luxury submarines available for purchase. While some submarines are used for scientific use, others are purchased to provide guests with a luxury underwater experience and enhance underwater exploration in comfort and in support of citizen science. Submarines can be as large as surface ships, but since they contain so much equipment, their personnel counts are much smaller with between 120 – 140 sailors. Thus, all must be able to multitask well, and each day is very different.A submarine (often shortened to sub) is a watercraft capable of independent operation underwater. It differs from a submersible, which has more limited underwater capability.
