Which side of Nusa Penida is best?
All in all both East and West Nusa Penida have their own charm. If you’re looking for iconic landmarks and easier access to amenities, West Nusa Penida is the way to go. I personally skipped East however, if you prefer a quieter atmosphere and more secluded beaches, the East side is ideal. The west side is by far the best side of Nusa Penida. This area features the famous sights of Kelingking Beach and Broken Beach. It is also the most developed area of the island, with bars and restaurants like nowhere else in Penida. Is diamond beach worth visiting? Absolutely! Diamond beach is renowned for its stunning scenery and unique rock formations, making it a must-see destination in nusa penida. In my opinion, YES, a day trip to Nusa Penida is absolutely worth it. It’s the perfect way to get a taste of the island. If you’re not too worried about a few crowds, a day trip is incredibly convenient. You’ll get to see a lot without the stress of organising ferries, transfers, and accommodation yourself.Nusa Penida offers a more relaxed and peaceful vibe. It’s less crowded than Bali, allowing you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the island.
