What is the history of Andark lake?
Andark was originally formed in 1976 as a commercial diving business in Southampton, England. Andark divers would work on everything from surveying ship hulls to underwater construction. In 1980, the company diversified and started a scuba diver training program. FAMILY RUN. Andark was founded in 1976 by Andrew & Stephanie Goddard. Starting off in a container in a boatyard to what it is today.
How deep is Andark Lake?
The lake has a max depth of 7 metres with 2 platforms at approx 1. Tie down points on bottom of Lake. Most recreational divers rarely dive deeper than 130 feet. But commercial divers can use atmospheric suits to descend to depths up to 2,000 feet. Some recreational divers have descended to depths of 1,000 feet and beyond and survived the experience without any problems.
