What is the difference between ozone alpha V2 and V3?
The new Alpha V3 takes everything that was great about the V2 but goes way further with tweaks to the design as well as a total overhaul of the materials to use lightweight dacron and canopy material to really take this kite to another level. Intermediate to advanced, single strut, all-round freeride performance. Great lift and hangtime. Extremely stable. The new models are a bit quicker compared to the oldies (I switched from v9 to v12), but still quite slow. What is ozone 3?
Ozone (O3) is a gas molecule composed of three oxygen atoms. Ozone is good up high, bad nearby. The ozone layer found high in the upper atmosphere shields us from much of the sun’s ultraviolet radiation. However, ozone air pollution at ground level where we can breathe it causes serious health problems. When inhaled, ozone can damage the lungs. Relatively low amounts can cause chest pain, coughing, shortness of breath and throat irritation. Ozone may also worsen chronic respiratory diseases such as asthma and compromise the ability of the body to fight respiratory infections.
