What is pipe science?
A pipe is a tubular section or hollow cylinder, usually but not necessarily of circular cross-section, used mainly to convey substances which can flow — liquids and gases (fluids), slurries, powders and masses of small solids. Pipes and tubes refer to the conduits used in flow chemistry synthesis, where chemical reactions occur in a continuously recirculated system, allowing for various reactor types such as plug flow reactors (PFR) and continuous stirred tank reactors (CSTR) to facilitate the mixing and movement of reactants.
