What is a pedaw boat?

What’s the difference between a pedal boat and a paddle boat?
There are several differences between pedal boats and paddle boats. Pedal boats move by turning pedals with your legs, while paddle boats move by using a paddle with your arms. Our boats may have the “hull” potential to reach just over 5 mph, but typical speed is more like 3. If a motor is used, and run on high, it still only has the potential to reach just over 5 mph.
Can one person use a pedal boat?
Yes – one person can pedal the Encore on their own. It is not affected by using only one pedal drive. Depending on the weight of that person, the boat may tip somewhat to the heavy side, but that can be offset with gear or even adding a bag of pea gravel to the other side of the boat. Absolutely possible, usually you can even take out the pedal mechanism i the front, to have less dead weight and water resistance. Be prepared to pay a fortune. Pedal kayaks arw not cheap and tandems even less so. Ideally you would sit in the back seat, where you have the best control with the paddle.
How hard is it to use a pedal boat?
AUnlike other water sports, pedal boats are very easy to use and do not require special skills or prior training.
