In a nutshell, a SkiErg is shorthand for ‘skiing exercise machine’ and, although initially for training purposes, the machine has been adapted to give you a full-body, low-impact workout. The SkiErg is an essential tool for my training and a great way to follow my development over time. My favorite workout is an hour of continuous work where every five minutes starts with 15 seconds of maximum effort. On the monitor I mainly keep an eye on the watts and aim to get a number as high as possible.
