This activity is a simple one to set up! Just fill a few of the containers with water and let your child pour the water back and forth between the containers. If you don’t have a large bin in which your child can play, be ready to replace the water regularly. From ages 1-3, your toddler only really needs two things: Water & Milk. Water is a great go-to drink throughout the day (1-4 cups of water per day). Milk is great for mealtime. Starting at age 1, plain whole milk is recommended (2-3 cups of milk per day).Water. Once your baby has started to eat solid foods (from around 6 months) you can offer them sips of water from a cup or beaker with meals. Drinking water for babies over 6 months does not need to be boiled first.
