The short and sweet answer is that you should wear warm, dry clothes. You’re going to get wet, and the water will be cold. Therefore, the only way to stay warm is to wear clothes that dry quickly.Wear quick-drying shorts or pants over your swimsuit (not necessary if your swimsuit has a short bottom). Good options include baggy shorts or athletic leggings. The rafting company will provide you with a PFD (life jacket) and a helmet.If it’s chilly, you can wear wool socks under your shoes or sandals. Most of our rafts accommodate 4 to 7 people. If you have less than 4 people in your group, there is a possibility you will be teamed up with other whitewater rafting guests. There is no minimum number of people required in your group to come rafting– we see solo rafters, and even groups as big as 148! Our rafts comfortably fit 8 people (6 in a sport raft), so if you have less than 8 you might be paired with other smaller groups to make a full boat.Most of our rafts accommodate 4 to 7 people.
