We were born as a family business, in Italy, a long time ago. Staying true to our core values during seventy-plus years has helped us create a company we’re proud to run and work for. We now have offices around the world, and our team has grown, day by day, into a large Cressi family. Cressi is proud to still manufacture the vast majority of it’s products in its head quarters building in Genova, Italy.

These are the origins of Cressi, the oldest scuba diving equipment company worldwide. The first Cressi mask, The Sirena, was hand crafted in 1943. It remained in the catalogue, with various updates, for more than 30 years. The Cressi company is officially founded in Genova, Italy.Formerly Cressi-Sub, the Italian company was founded by two brothers, Egidio and Nanni Cressi in 1946 in Genoa, Italy. Still family owned and operated, the company is headed today by Antonio Cressi and its headquarters and manufacturing facilities remain in Genoa.
