How to remove a drain plug?
Here are two techniques you can employ: Squeeze each side of the stopper, then pull it up until it comes out. You might have to wiggle it back and forth if it’s stuck. Or, twist the stopper counterclockwise to unscrew the cap. If it doesn’t come off easily, try again but improve your grip by using a cloth. If the cap is in the closed position, apply firm pressure by pressing down on the centre of the cap and twist anti-clockwise. Eventually the cap will loosen enough so that it can be removed.
