How to qualify for USATF junior Olympics?
Per USATF Rule 300. Athletes must be at least seven (7) years of age on December 31 of the current year to compete at the Youth Athletics or Junior Olympic National Championship. Athletes under seven (7) years of age can compete at the Association and Region Championships. The Youth Olympic Games (YOG) is an international multi-discipline event for athletes between 15 and 18 years of age, organized by the International Olympic Committee.If a young athlete is interested in taking part in the YOG, he/she must contact his/her National Olympic Committee (NOC), which will inform him/her of the qualification criteria.
