How to find Thule part number?
Usually, the part number should be on a sticker somewhere on the rack, but this could be long gone if the rack has been around a while. How do I know what model Thule I have?
The easiest way to identify your Thule roof bar type is to check the box it came in. However, if this has been lost or thrown away you can easily find out which roof bar type you have by comparing pictures online. Thule Roof Bars are both easy to install and remove. If you have a Thule roof bar installed, you should be able to remove it within a few minutes. Thule offer a selection of roof bar styles and fitting accessories to fit a range of vehicle models.
How do I know which Thule key I need?
We will need to know your lock barrel number in order to supply you with the correct key. This will be N followed by three numbers (e. N123). Where is the Thule key code?
The Thule Key Code can be found on the head of your original key or on the face of the lock. The Code will begin with the letter N followed by 3 digits eg: N001. This number must be provided to enable us to cut your key. If you have your Thule keys and would like to purchase extra keys, the number can be found on the key itself as well as on the exterior of the lock core. Thule key/core numbers start with an “N” followed by three digits. What is the master key on a Thule roof bar?
A Thule Master key is required for removing lock barrels from the locking housing. Please note that the lock barrel must be in the unlocked position to use the Master key, except in the case of roof boxes, where it must be set to the lock removal position as shown in the manual.
