The boat’s battery is positioned just behind the rear seating – perpendicular to the long axis of the hull – and has its own independent cooling system, making the Arc Sport suitable for both saltwater and freshwater use. Arc reckons that the battery is good for about four to five hours of run time in the Sport. Boating isn’t like driving a car, where range anxiety is a constant companion; you tend to use bursts of power interspersed with just idling or drifting.Cruising around at lower speeds is sustainable for over 24 hours straight, whereas spending more time at high speeds will use the battery faster.
