How does a knee board work?

Inboard, sterndrive, or outboard boats can all work well. Is kneeboarding harder than wakeboarding?

Both sports require leg and chest strength, but since you have to balance both your legs on the wakeboard (vs one ski on each leg), wakeboarding takes more core strength.

For new riders and youth riders, boat speeds typically go as low as 10 MPH, with incremental increases in speed as the rider’s confidence grows. For riders weighing 100 pounds or more, 20 miles per hour is an appropriate boat speed for kneeboarding. For riders weighing 90 pounds, take the speed down to 18 miles per hour. For riders weighing 80 pounds: 16 miles per hour. For riders weighing 70 pounds: 14 miles per hour.
