What is the private side of Lake Anna?
The private side is formed of three main bodies of water, connected by navigable canals. This side has no marinas or public access ramps; only property owners and North Anna Power Station employees have access to the waters on the private side. The private side does not allow commercial operation on its shoreline and you must be a property owner to access the water on the private side, as there are no public launch sites, NO MARINAS, NO RESTAURANTS, etc. NOTE: the two sides are separated by three dykes, so you cannot cross to the other side by boat.
