Does Lake Anna have beaches?
Pleasants landing is one of two public beaches on lake anna with the other being at lake anna state park. We rent fishing poles, kayaks, canoes, motor boats, jet skis, and beach canopies. The private side is private in the sense that there are no public boat launch facilities. Many beautiful homes adorn the serene, wooded landscape on both sides. You’ll find lake anna is a proven year-round fishery and one of the best lakes to fish for largemouth bass on the eastern seaboard.All of Lake Anna State Park’s campsites are on a gravel surface. All tents must fit on a 19×24 foot tent pad. All campsites are conveniently located to restrooms with hot-water showers, fire rings, picnic tables and lantern holders.Lake Anna State Park opened to the public in July 1983. The park features a guarded swimming beach, an accessible fishing pond, and a boat ramp. While boating and fishing on this beautiful lake are major attractions, these are only some of the park’s offerings.With over 200 miles of shoreline, Lake Anna is the ideal spot for boaters to cruise freely on the water. How much does it cost to swim at Lake Anna?
Swimming? Yes, there is a public swimming area at the state park and there is a charge of $3 for those over the age of $13 and $2 for children aged 3-12 during the week. The rates are an additional $1 on weekends. Can you launch your boat at the Lake Anna State Park? Is there a charge for the Lake Anna State Park? Yes, there is a parking charge for passenger vehicles of $6 on weekdays and $7 on weekends. Prime weekends include an additional $2 charge. If you’re visiting the park and are a Virginia resident, you save $2.Alcoholic beverages, firearms (including fireworks) and other weapons are prohibited. An entrance fee is charged per vehicle during the summer months and is not included in the rental fee. Fees are charged Saturdays and Sundays in April, May and September, and daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day.Fees.
