Can you rent snorkel gear on Peanut Island?
Snorkeling gear can be rented out from 10 a. Each snorkeling set includes a traditional mask and snorkel. Valid ID is required to rent out snorkeling gear, and IDs are securely held at the desk until equipment is returned. A fee will be assessed if snorkeling gear is lost or returned damaged. A good way to go about it is to purchase your own mask and snorkel, which usually don’t take up too much luggage space. This option also neatly addresses any concerns you may have about hygiene since you don’t have to worry about anyone else having used your gear.
Can you kayak at Peanut Island?

On the east side of Peanut Island, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the island, snorkel the incredible Snorkeling Lagoon, go for a swim or simply lay back and soak up the sun! Is there food at Peanut Island?
Peanut Island Park. Alcohol possession or consumption is restricted to camping permit areas only. Please note: there is NO food or rental concession located on the island. Please bring all necessary items for your safety, comfort, and enjoyment. Peanut Islands campground includes 17 campsites that are beautifully landscaped with tropical plants. Each campsite features a tent pad, picnic table and grill. The wider campground also includes a picnic pavilion, fire ring and bathrooms with showers.
Can you bring alcohol to Peanut Island?
The island does not allow alcohol with the exception of the designated campsites. Camping is only allowed in designated areas. Camping in natural areas is closed because of the high tides. We recommend you bring your own lunch, snacks, and refreshments to make the most out of your trip. Please note that alcohol is prohibited on the island, so please don’t pack any alcoholic beverages.
