Are Thule roof racks easy to install?
We installed the rails and the cross bars ourselves. Both OEM. It was fairly easy. Just follow the instructions. The only thing you probably need is a torque wrench so that you know exactly how tight. Dealership quoted us 3 hours to install so we definitely saved a few hundreds that way. Ensure that you have a tight fit, and that the crossbar is perpendicular to the raised rail on both ends. Repeat for the rear crossbar, and ensure the minimum distance of 70 cm or 27.
