They make it easier for children to float and stay afloat. However, it is important to know that they are not designed to prevent drowning. They only improve flotation and do not guarantee that the child will not roll over or slip out of the armbands.Swimming Discs An easy to get on, foam version of armbands, which are difficult to damage. We recommend children under three (3) years of age be supervised at all times while wearing jewelry. Many items of jewellery contain small parts and therefore present a choking hazard. We recommend that your child only wears our children’s earrings after the initial healing/period has passed after piercing. Babies and Toddlers: Infants and young toddlers are prone to putting everything in their mouths. Therefore, it’s crucial to choose jewelry that is free from small parts that could be swallowed. Pieces that are too long may present strangulation risks, so short necklaces and baby bracelets are the most suitable options.While they might look appealing and some parents swear they relieve teething pain, you should never put a necklace on your young child. Strangulation is a serious risk for young children who can easily get something wrapped too tightly around their neck but cannot get it off.Jewelry should always be comfortable and safe to wear, and for kids under 12, it’s better to go with a design that they can easily remove if necessary. While permanent jewelry might not be the best option for kids under 12, I do offer bracelets with clasps as an alternative.
