What are the activities at Snowdon adventure?
Our activities include Canyoning, Gorge Scrambling, Rock Climbing, Kayaking and more! We also run a variety of Mountaineering and Rock Climbing Courses. Other activities include paragliding, white water rafting and other water activities, rock climbing, snowboarding and more.
Can a 7 year old climb Snowdon?
If your child has done some hiking before and is used to the exertion of walking up and downhill for sustained periods, then climbing Snowdon is an achievable goal for them. In our experience, we wouldn’t recommend it for children younger than 5 or 6 years old, because this is a very long day on rocky mountain terrain. Visiting Snowdonia with children is like going into a restaurant that doesn’t do ‘kids menus’ but just offers half portions of the real thing. Is Snowdonia good for kids?
The views of the surrounding mountains are incredible, and it’s a great way to immerse yourself in Snowdonia’s wild side. It’s great for kids of all ages or for those baby carrying! It gives you a real experience of some of Wales’ highest mountains! Beddgelert. Everyone loves Beddgelert – and its enviable location. The picturesque stone-built village is the ideal base for exploring all the classic Snowdonia sights and beauty spots – Aberglaslyn Pass to the south, Nant Gwynant to the east, Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon to the north.
