What boat is most likely to sink?

Small boats such as canoes, kayaks, and sailboats are more likely to capsize than heavy-bottomed boats. This is because the latter becomes unstable easily on the water since they have a weight limit. Kayaks are designed with a low center of gravity and a broad base, making them exceptionally stable and difficult to tip over. It’s not necessarily a deal breaker if a kayak is rated for below your weight. Being above the weight limit doesn’t mean you’ll sink the boat. Most of the time it will just sit lower in the water, require a bit more energy to move, and be easier to tip. I have used many boats rated below my weight.
