What is the difference between a pull kick and a kickboard?
Kickboards are long lasting and can be used by swimmers of all abilities. The pullkick is a hybrid between the traditional kickboard and the pullbuoy. It is a foam board that features a flat middle section between two side panels. The pullkick can be held out in front as a kickboard and between the legs as a pullbuoy. kickboard workouts are an excellent way to improve both leg strength and swimming speed. These exercises target your lower body, helping you build muscle, increase endurance, and improve overall swimming efficiency.
What can you use instead of kickboard?
If you are new to swimming and want to try side kick but are completely unable to do it, I would recommend throwing on some fins. The additional speed and lift will help with maintaining body position. You put the pull buoy between the thighs and you swim breaststroke with it. It’s that simple. So it will elevate the body, will change the position a little bit.
