In March 2024, British Canoeing changed their name to Paddle UK. Previously named British Canoeing, Paddle UK has been around since 1936 when it was the British Canoe Union. In 2000 we federalised to become the umbrella organisation for the home nation associations in Scotland (Paddle Scotland), Wales (Paddle Cymru) and Northern Ireland (Paddle Northern Ireland).
