In 2022, he and a group of investors purchased the historic 6666 Ranch for a jaw-dropping $320 million. Upon owning the ranch—which had already been established as a filming location for Yellowstone, Taylor leaned into his entrepreneurial side and began leasing it to Paramount for a reported $50,000 per week. As of 3 December 2020, the ranch was being sold in accordance with the will of owner Anne Burnett Marion, who had died in February that year; it was listed on the market for a total of $347.
