One of the reasons jolyn swim has such a strong following is that its suits work for a wide range of athletic activities.Note: All swimsuits stretch a bit when wet and no one wants to lose theirs coming up for air. A slightly firm, almost compressive fit on dry land is a good start. If it’s barely holding on when it’s dry, it will easily let go when it’s wet, so a snug fit is best.JOLYN suits are performance-fit and should feel tight when dry. They will loosen slightly in the water. It is recommended to size down for compression if used for competition, or size up slightly for recreational use.If the wetsuit is too loose, it will allow water to displace in the suit which can chill the body and stiffen up. It will make excess materials in areas like the armpits (what we call wing) which will result in chaffing and/or a bulky uncomfortable feeling.
Do JOLYN swimsuits have pads?
We purposely don’t make our suits with shelves or extra padding across the chest so you get the closest, most sleekest fit possible. They run small and the fabric doesn’t stretch at all compared to my other training suits, but they’re very cute and last forever.

If the swimsuit is too tight, it may dig into your skin or cause discomfort, while a loose fit may result in an unflattering look and lack of support.When wet, the suit will loosen a little from the weight of the water, pulling the suit slightly away from the body, so it’s vital the suit fits tight to begin with. Can you wash JOLYN swimsuits?
We recommend rinsing in cold water and air drying your suits after every use. Please avoid any washing or drying machine or soap as those will likely cause damage to your JOLYN.
