History is Made! The boogie board is the brainchild of restless genius Tom Morey, who, although an excellent stand-up surfer, kept looking for new ways to catch waves. A mathematician and engineer, Morey was taken with the idea of a small, lightweight craft while he was living in Kona, Hawaii in the early 1970s.
