The agreement was ratified by the full IOC membership at the IOC Session in Lima on 13 September, confirming that Paris will host the Olympic Games 2024, and that Los Angeles will host the Olympic Games 2028. The 2026 Winter Olympics will be held in Milan-Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, and take place between 6 and 22 February 2026. At the 142nd IOC Session in July 2024, it was confirmed that the 2030 Winter Olympics will be hosted by France in the French Alps.
