What is the lifespan of a dive computer?
Top-of-the-line dive computers can sell for up to $1,400. If you spend that amount, you have every good expectation that you can use it for a while, for more than two years. Every generation of computers that comes out has additional features, but they are made to last. A personal dive computer purchase can last a diver many years if properly maintained. And as a diver progresses in their training, they may decide to relegate their once main computer to a backup role.
