Yes, there are better brands out there, and it always depends on what kind of diving you’re planning to do, but in my experience, you can’t go too far wrong with Cressi. As others have said though, one thing to factor in is ease/cost of maintenance locally.

How do you clean Cressi masks?

Are Cressi masks any good?
CRESSI Z1. This low-volume mask uses a velvety silicone skirt that scored very good for comfort. The skirt is cut close to the nose, and not every test diver could get an effective seal, but those who could found it to be comfortable and bone-dry. It scored very good for dryness. Clear silicone masks are favored by many divers and snorkelers for their excellent visibility and enhanced color perception.
