As of 2014, Hilton Hawaiian Village relocated their 3 remaining South African black-footed penguins to the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. About a decade ago, the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki also housed African black-footed penguins, but after several years the resort shipped the animals to Maryland, according to Ho. He wasn’t sure why the resort chose to make the change, but it wasn’t due to any regulatory problems, he said.It is an amazing village. I Love Hilton Hawaiian Village. It is awesome! They removed the penguins years ago ( unfortunately).
