How to check water coolant levels?
Open the hood and locate the engine coolant reservoir. It is often a translucent white color, and has hose(s) connecting it to the radiator. The reservoir has a fill range marked on the side. If your engine is cold, the coolant level should be up to the cold fill line. The coolant should be at full in the radiator and between the F and L marks on the coolant reservoir when the engine is cool. If it is at or near L, add enough coolant to the coolant reservoir to provide freezing and corrosion protection and to bring the level to F.To check the levels, lift your car’s bonnet, and be sure that it’s secured.
